May 2026 Newsletter
May arrives as the month of sacred fire, when the ancient world lit its flames not for warmth alone but as a living act of remembrance, courage, and communion with everything that cannot be seen.
From the Sacred Land... Introducing Skyaia Eggs

Sacred geometry. High-frequency nutrition. Pyramid-infused eggs.
Now available in limited quantities from Skyaia.
I am fire. Not the fire that consumes, but the fire that illuminates. In the north, my flame leaps upward into the long bright days, celebrating the fullness of what I am becoming. In the south, my flame turns inward, tending the sacred ember of all I carry, all I remember, all that was given to me by those who came before. I am both fires at once. I am the visible and the invisible, the rising and the resting, the bloom and the root. The pyramid within me is made of stone and light, and it holds my flame steady through every season, in every hemisphere, across every beautiful distance. I am the fire that never goes out. And so it is.

A Message from Dr. Simon Atkins

Dear Beloved Soul,
On the first day of May, something extraordinary happens...
Across both hemispheres, simultaneously, humanity stands at a threshold. Not the threshold of the equinox, where day and night are equal and the Earth is balanced between seasons. This is a different kind of threshold, older and more primal. It is the cross-quarter day, the sacred midpoint between equinox and solstice, the moment in the turning year when the veil between what is seen and what is unseen grows thin, and when our ancestors, in every corner of the world, responded the same way: they lit a fire.
Beltane Fire in the North
In the Northern Hemisphere, May 1 was celebrated for thousands of years as Beltane, a great Celtic fire festival heralding the peak of spring and the arrival of summer's full power. Communities would light enormous bonfires on hilltops as the sun went down. These were not decorative fires. They were understood to carry real force, purifying, protective, generative. People leapt through the flames as an act of courage and renewal. They danced. They feasted. They gave thanks for the extraordinary abundance of a world in full, exuberant bloom. The underlying energy of Beltane is unambiguously alive. The sun is strong, the days are long, the life force is at full volume, and the call is to express yourself, to offer your gifts, to let your own light burn as brightly as it possibly can. This is the fire of becoming.
Samhain Fire in the South
In the Southern Hemisphere, home of the Skyaia Pyramid, May 1 carries the energy of Samhain, an ancient festival marking the beginning of the dark half of the year. The word itself comes from the old Celtic tongue and means roughly the end of summer, though for those in the south it arrives not at summer's end but at autumn's deepening threshold, which is precisely where its spirit belongs. As the nights grow longer and the last of the harvest is gathered in, Samhain honors the moment when the boundary between the living world and the world of ancestors and unseen forces grows thin. Fires were lit here too, but their spirit was quieter than Beltane's leaping flames. These were fires of remembrance. Of sitting with what cannot be seen. Of honoring those who came before, and listening to what only silence and darkness can reveal. The call of Samhain is not to leap and dance, but to draw inward, to tend your inner ember, to ask what wisdom lives in your bones that you have not yet had the stillness to hear. This is the fire of remembering.
One day. Two hemispheres. Two ancient festivals, two fires burning in opposite directions, and yet made of the same sacred light.
A Community of Both Fires
This is what moves me so deeply about our Skyaia Pyramid community. We are, by our very nature, a community of both fires. We have members standing in the long bright days of Beltane, feeling the life force rising through their feet and the sun on their faces. We have members settling into the quiet cathedral of Samhain, feeling the pull toward rest, reflection, and the deeper conversation that only comes when the world grows still. And yet we gather, month after month, around the same pyramid, the same intention, the same understanding that Beltane and Samhain are not opposites but partners. That the flame which leaps upward and the flame which turns inward are, at their source, one and the same light.
The pyramid has always known this. Consider what it is: a structure that rises from a broad, earthbound base toward a single luminous point above. Its base is planted in the ground, in the soil, in the realm of roots and ancestors and everything that endures beneath the surface, the realm of Samhain. Its apex reaches toward the sky, toward the sun, toward the realm of expression, light, and becoming, the realm of Beltane. It does not choose between the two. It holds them both, simultaneously, in perfect geometric harmony. When you sit within the field of the Skyaia Pyramid on a May evening, you are held in that same harmony. Both fires burn in you. Both are needed. Both are sacred.
A Simple Practice for May
I want to invite you into a simple practice for May 1 and for the whole of this month. Wherever you are, whatever fire surrounds you, light a candle at dusk. Just one candle. And as you light it, hold both hemispheres in your heart. Feel the Beltane fire that leaps in celebration for those entering summer's fullness. Feel the Samhain fire that glows in remembrance for those entering winter's depth. Let your single candle flame be both at once. Let it rise and let it rest. Let it be seen and let it illuminate what cannot be seen.
You carry both fires. You always have. May is simply the month when the Earth makes it impossible to ignore.
Sacred Intention
Great fire of the living year, we gather around you this May from both ends of the Earth. To those in the north whose flames leap skyward in the fullness of late spring, may your fire illuminate every gift you have been given and every gift you are ready to offer the world. Burn brightly, beloved souls. To those in the south whose flames turn inward in the sacred depth of autumn's threshold, may your fire warm the quiet places, the remembered places, the ancient places within you. Burn steadily, beloved souls. To our Skyaia Pyramid community, gathered across hemispheres and seasons around one shared flame, may the pyramid hold your light as it has always held light: without preference, without condition, in perfect and luminous wholeness. One fire. Two flames. One family. And so it is.
